“My first days at Movietone”
I’m pleased to announce that we have started a series of podcasts entitled, “The Movietone Years”. They cover my time at Movietone from 1st October 1945, until my departure for the adventure of the beginning of Australian television in 1956.
I’m proposing to publish the podcast once a week.
The first episode of “The Movietone Years” is called, “My First Days at Movietone”.
The following articles relate to the subject of the podcast:
66 Years ago: Movietone News, the first days
Movietone and the Ministry of Information 1945
All the podcasts in the series vary in length, the first is around seventeen minutes long, others can be around five, most are in between – all depending on the subject.
