Coventry Cathedral BBC interview
Today Friday, 25th May 2012 is the fiftieth anniversary of the consecration of the new part of St Michael’s Cathedral, designed by Sir Basil Spence, which forms part of Coventry Cathedral.
I have already written an article on filming the consecration of Coventry Cathedral. Click here to read the article.
Earlier in the year I was interviewed by BBC Coventry & Warwickshire on my recollections of that day and the preparations made in advance. In 1962, I was the Assignments Manager for British Movietone News and I arranged the filming and the camera crews used on that day.
As well as my interview there are forty-nine other interviews about all aspects of Coventry Cathedral’s fifty years since the consecration. Click here to listen to the other interviews.
